Overview

Tab Workspaces ("the extension") helps you save groups of browser tabs as workspaces and restore them later. This policy explains what information the extension handles and how it is used.

Information the extension accesses

When you use the extension, it may access:

  • Tab titles and URLs from your current browser window
  • Tab favicon URLs provided by the browser
  • Workspace names you choose when saving a group of tabs

This information is used only to display your open tabs, save workspaces, restore tabs, and delete saved workspaces.

How your data is stored

Saved workspaces are stored locally on your device using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. The extension does not upload your browsing data to any server operated by the developer.

Data sharing

The extension does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. No analytics, advertising, or tracking services are used by the extension.

Network access

The extension does not require broad website access. It only interacts with Chrome extension APIs to read, close, and reopen tabs in your browser.

Data retention and deletion

Saved workspaces remain on your device until you delete them in the extension or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling the extension removes locally stored workspace data associated with it.

Children's privacy

The extension is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
